About IDS Bareilly – Institute of Dental Sciences
Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS) Bareilly is one of Uttar Pradesh's established dental colleges, founded in 2002 by Dr. Keshav Kumar Agarwal (who also founded Bareilly International University in 2016). IDS is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI) — the statutory body that regulates all dental education in India.
IDS Bareilly is located on Pilibhit Bypass Road, Near Suresh Sharma Nagar — the same corridor as MJPRU and other prominent Bareilly institutions. The institute offers BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) as the undergraduate dental degree and MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) postgraduate programmes across 9 dental specialities. MDS was introduced at IDS in 2008.
A key feature of IDS Bareilly is its superspeciality OPD clinics open to the public for comprehensive dental care — giving BDS and MDS students extensive clinical exposure. The institute is NIRF ranked and participates in national institutional ranking frameworks. It has a complete e-content library for all BDS and MDS subjects.
